Both Kitty Glitter and Ah Shit! achieved Bingo, simultaneously! So they both gained some bonus points and we learned the rest of the answers.  Kitty Glitter took a decent lead over Ah Shit! and we continued on to round 2.

Quizlinks challenged the teams in attendance…or so it seemed they both did fairly well on them. I think they just wanted perfection. Kitty Glitter kept their lead after round 2 but Ah Shit! was steadily catching up.

The handouts helped the teams out as they both did pretty well. Kitty Glitter kept their lead and we moved on to the final round.

The 80s crews were here, ready to quiz, Livin’ On a Prayer! Biddy’s was hopping!

The 80s was a great topic for pretty much everyone in the house! Kitty Glitter scooped up the bingo win and pocketed the bonus points. At the bottom of this round, Kitty Glitter was in 1^st, Soylent Green was in 2^nd with Borg 9 in a close 3^rd and just 1 point separating them from Darwin Barney.

Name That Tune was a bitchin’ round! Soylent Green got them all correct!! They took over the 1^st place reign with Kitty Glitter in 2^nd, Borg 9 in 3^rd. Crazy 8s was gaining on them with only 3 points to tie.

The handouts were helpful to many, including Crazy 8s. Soylent Green got all of the Teen 80s movies correct!! The top 3 wound up being Soylent Green, Borg 9 and Crazy 8s! Kitty Glitter slipped into 4^th.

Soylent Green picked the category, everyone made their wagers and the question was asked. Only Borg 9 knew the answer so they took 1^st place! Soylent was in 2^nd and Crazy 8s was more than thrilled to be in 3^rd!

It was rainy out but it was steamy in Biddy’s. Lots of hot brains ready to quiz it out. J

Bingo got down to the final couple questions when Boba Steph claimed the bonus points with their win. This put them in 1^st place with Plan B in 2^nd. Black Sabbatical and Ah Shit! tied for 3^rd while Kitty Glitter, Nightmare on Long Street and Sausage Squad all tied for 4^th. The party rolled on.

As the rain turned to snow….and began sticking…we all contemplated where we’d sleep in the bar.   Who Am I was a fun round! Black Sabbatical did pretty well with Kitty Glitter not far behind them in round 2 points. Boba Steph stayed in 1^st while Black Sabbatical managed to get up to 2^nd with Kitty Glitter in a close 3^rd. Plan B was only in 4^th by 3 points!

The MLK Speech hand out was lucrative for Kitty Glitter and Sausage Squad as they both only missed on answer on that one! What’s in a Dream was a little tougher for most, but we all had fun with it. Boba Steph remained firmly in 1^st place with Kitty Glitter in 2^nd and Black Sabbatical in 3^rd.

BS picked the category of DreamWorks and the wagers were placed. I posed the question and the answers were given. Boba Steph and Black Sabbatical both new the answer but it was Boba Steph that walked away with the prize money!! Black Sabbatical came in 2^nd and Kitty Glitter was 3^rd.

Biddy’s was humming and players were primed for the scamming, err, quizzing. Bingo was scooped up by Borg 9 and their 4-corners win. They were off and running in 1^st place with Kitty Glitter trailing behind them in 2^nd. Soylent Green pulled into 3^rd with Darwin Barney Madoff in 4^th. Johnny Mullet took up residence in last place. Will they move up in the ranks? We shall see.

Secret Message found Borg 9 holding firmly to that 1^st place notch with Kitty Glitter still vying for 2^nd. Soylent Green and Darwin stayed where they were as did Johnny Mullet. Maybe the handouts will help them. J

Flim-Flam Flicks was a good one for Kitty Glitter. Darwin didn’t do bad on that one, either. That’s Amazing! was a cinch for Kitty Glitter as they scored the only 100% on that one!! With that, Kitty Glitter marched up to 1^st place putting B9 in 2^nd. Darwin nudged into 3^rd by just 1 point over Soylent Green. And where was Johnny Mullet? Still on the bottom of the heap…

Kitty Glitter picked the category and wagers were made. I asked the final question of the teams. Nobody knew the answer…and Kitty Glitter and B9 wagered NADA…So…the big winners were Kitty Glitter! Borg 9 came in 2^nd! What a fun night!

We had lots of players and they were ready to be quizzed. Bingo went pretty well with Master Billy Quiz Boy taking the bingo bonus points. Kitty Glitter took an early lead though. They are competing fiercely against Walking Talking Steven Hawking for the quarter championship. The one man team of Keates was in 2^nd and Squirrels, Biddy Committee and JoJo tied for 3^rd.

Round 2 bumped Keates to the forefront as he took a 30 point lead over Kitty Glitter. Squirrels anchored in 3^rd place, well ahead of Action Faction who was in a distant 4^th. Interestingly, JoJo slid all the way to the bottom of the heap.

The End of Fame handout was pretty easy for over half the teams as they aced it. The Mama Bumps stumped most teams. WTSH did pretty well on it, though.

In the end, Keates was in 1^st place by 10 points over Kitty Glitter. WTSH fought tooth and nail to get up to 3^rd place to try and stay in the running for the quarter champion spot.

Keates picked the category and wagers were made. I asked the final question Keates and Kitty Glitter knew the answer promptly. Keates, having the upper hand on points, took the big win!  Kitty Glitter came in 2^nd which gave them enough points to beat WTSH as the quarterly champs!! (pic to be posted when the award is given)

The house was packed and ugly holiday sweaters were abound. Everyone was ready for a fun night and they kept showing up.

Bingo was a fun round that ended up with Walking Talking Stephen Hawking getting a 4-corners bingo win! This placed them in 1^st place, just 4 points ahead of Borg 9. The Ho Ho Hos appeared in 3^rd place and the party rocked on.

Singing Christmas carols was a fun round to have! We had plenty of teams decide to sing. There were great singers and great improvisers, and lots of clapping and glass tinkling and just a great time. The Ho Ho Hos were a group of harmonious and great singers. Dead Last had a great singer who scored points for their team as well. WTSH rapped us out a carol and everyone had a blast! Ho Ho Hos moved into 1^st place after this round. Borg 9 stayed in 2^nd place while WTSH slipped to 3^rd. Kitty Glitter wasn’t far behind WTSH and would have to do well on the handouts to get moved into their spot.

Everyone knew their car logos pretty well. There were quite a few 100% for this handout. Also Born on Christmas was a bit tougher, but a few teams managed to get decent scores. I had also thrown out some random Let’s Make a Deal type questions for bonus points. It was fun seeing everyone respond to those opportunities! In the end, HHHs were in 1^st place with WTSH in 2^nd and Kitty Glitter tying with Borg 9 for 3^rd. We picked the category and I collected the wagers. I asked the final question and HHHs answered with a calm cockiness. Well….nobody came up with the correct answer. With the wagers placed the way they were, Kitty Glitter came in 1^st!  WTSH came in 2^nd and HHHs place 3^rd.

Bingo was tough this round. We got down to the last question and then both Kitty Glitter and Rake of Blood hit it at the same time. I split the points and read back the scores. Kitty Glitter was in 1^st while Rake of Blood held up 2^nd, leaving Walking Talking Stephen Hawking in 3^rd. The Squirrels weren’t far behind in 4^th while Taint Train rallied in 5^th place.

Name That Tune was a fun one. Kitty Glitter was the only one who managed to get the bonus tune correct, securing their spot in 1^st place. Rake of Blood and Squirrels tied for 2^nd with WTSH in 3^rd and Taint Train was only 2 points behind them. J

In the end, Kitty Glitter remained in 1^st while WTSH was in 2^nd. Rake of Blood and Squirrels tied for 3^rd. The wagers were placed, the question was asked and Squirrels came out victorious!! Bingo made history for this Quizmaster. I had a 4-way tie! I split the points and everyone was happy..not as happy as getting the full 20 points, but they were all agreeable.  Sippin Purple Chongos and Kitty Glitter tied for 1^st, Boba Steph was in 2^nd only by 2 points and Ah Shit! was in 3^rd, with Rake of Blood right on their tales.

By the Numbers was a bit tough. The end result had Rake of Blood, Ah Shit! and Kitty Glitter in a 3-way tie for 1^st. Sippin Purple Chongos was in 2^nd, only leading Boba Steph by 2 points. Dead Last wasn’t in last cuz Walking Talking Stephen Hawking was.

The Cereal Numbers handout went over pretty well and the Add-A-Letter was a breeze for the 5 teams who got 100% while the other teams only missed 1 each. When the fog cleared, Rake of Blood was in 1^st place with Ah Shit! in 2^nd and Kitty Glitter tied with Sippin Purple Chongos for 3^rd. The wagers were placed and the question was posed. Ah Shit! was the only team to get the answer correct so they took 1^st place! Rake of Blood came in a proud 2^nd!

Bingo wasn’t even close. Borg 9 had zoomed in on the bonus 20 points before anyone knew what hit them. They were securely in 1^st while The Joy of Sects was in a 3-way…tie with BuzzKill and Kitty Glitter. Boba stuff planted themselves in 3^rd and Walking Talking Stephen Hawking only stayed out of  last place by 1 point…Master Billy Quiz Boy took that spot for this round.

Jeopardy either slaughtered them or bolstered them. Borg 9 stayed in their secure spot of first place. Boba Steph clawed their way to 2^nd, pushing BuzzKill down by 1 point. Dead Last wasn’t far behind in 4^th. MBQB stayed at the bottom.

The handouts helped most teams out. Borg 9 remained in 1^st while The Joy of Sects moved on up to 2^nd, pushing Boba Steph down, but only by 2 points! Dead Last tried so hard but missed it by 4 points. BuzzKill and Kitty Glitter tied for 5^th and WTSH was right behind them. MBQB stayed on the bottom…being the root system. The wagers were placed, the question was asked and, apparently, everyone knew to avoid the salad bars in 1984. Borg 9 took the win, by a mere 5 points over Boba Steph!!

Bingo was fun but had a few clarifications to be made. Soylent Green captured the Bingo win, securing their place in first. Kitty Glitter was in 2^nd and Walking Talking Stephen Hawking was in 3^rd, only down by 2 points.

A to Z was our round 2 tonight. A few teams did really well in this round, including Soylent Green. They continued to have a great lead. Kitty Glitter moved up to 2^nd, pushing WTSH to 3^rd.

The handouts were fun. They really helped Boba Steph move up in the ranks. In the end, Soylent stayed safely in 1^st with WTSH in 2^nd. Kitty Glitter and Boba Steph were tied for 3^rd, behind WTSH by only 3 points. Soylent chose the category for the final question. Everyone wagered and I asked the question. 3 teams knew where Dr. Dre picked up bitches from so it was all up to the wagers. Boba Steph went balls to the wall and wagered it all so they won the game!! Soylent Green came in 2^nd and WTSH was in 3^rd.
