Boisterously we celebrated Evil Villains and all that black caped badness that came on with the 60 people that showed up to Quiz with us on Tuesday night at the Bridgeport. The fact that Bridgeport had BLACK NAPKINS on the tables really helped out in the efforts for bonus points, as some teams cleverly fashioned them into capes, and demanded points. I think black napkins and trash bags are the tie for worst attempt at points, personally, however I may to amend that to include “trading off” fo the capes to get everyone on the team points. I mean, really, just HOW MANY evil Spiderman capes can one team have, really?

Nonetheless, I played along, and gave out points, but just so you know, next time, everyone presents stuff AT THE SAME TIME and only those wearing capes get points. Sometimes I just have to give teams points for being clever, like the napkin idea…pretty clever. I also saw a guy that made a “fancy” black cape out of a hoodie and some oversized paper clips. Well done. I can only imagine what the “others” at the office you’re working at must think as you sit poised at your desk, cackling over your efforts in putting together a good cape, practicing that evil laugh and positioning those paper clips just right so your Quizmaster won’t notice that it’s a hoodie. You’re so clever Mr. Quizzer, much more clever than I. (see aforementioned post on QATQM’s on Monday night)

Cattle prodigy finished just ahead of Sam dropped the ball this week. Sam has been hovering around the last five to the middle three for quite some time now, but Cattle Prodigy, they usually take the top 5, no sweat. I don’t know what’s going on over there in the CP world, but Sam is starting to catch up to you. I’m just saying.

This week’s winner at the Bridgeport were “I’ll Quiz if I want to” and it was team with Allison celebrating her birthday, and so appropriately titled. She wanted to Quiz, and Quiz she did. We sang a round of Happy Birthday to help celebrate and wish her well, then she kicked everyone’s ass anyway. And in a cape no less.
