Ah, another year, another Boston sports victory. And I’m thrilled that I could share it with my favorite Canadian hockey fans at the Space Room. Oh wait… the Canadian fans didn’t show up! Hmmm… Heather… Theo… shame on you. But then again, why would you show up? It’s not like the Canucks did, after all.

But the quiz itself was just as enjoyable, with twists and turns throughout the night leading to a very close Challenge Round. The Cupcakes led the way with a 1 point lead over Those Meddling Kids after four rounds. Third place belonged to House of No Future, who were only 3 points out of first! Crazy tension in the Challenge Round, but eventually the Cupcakes prevailed, the only team to know the name of the Governator’s secret babymamma. House of No Future wagered the BIG ZERO, to earn second place, and Those Meddling Kids walked out in third.

House of No Future also won the season-long championship — repeating for the second straight season. Can they win three in a row? We’ll see… over this season, several smart-alec teams have emerged and the competition for the Saucer will surely heat up!

Hotter than the Stanley Cup winning Boston Bruins? Noooo… not likely. That’s too hot, folks. But you can always aspire (and maybe name your team after the Big Bad B’s)!
