What a great night last night at CC’s… filling in for the lovely Ms. Toni is always a tough thing to do since she is the epitome of class and style… two things that have eluded me for the better part of my life… but I did my best… even if I did say ‘Italian’ several times when I was reading ‘Indian’. (Although I still think it was a conspiracy between the teams to get a free answer!!)

It was a bit quiet through the bingo round… and there were some grumbling of the hardness of the beginning of the second round ‘A to Z’… but when the back nine came around and the collective sigh of “O yea I do know that one…” went out… things lightened up considerably.

The bar team went down hard last night… getting beaten by a depleted ‘Streeps’ team by one point to keep them in last place for the week. (I heard that revenge was being planned even as we speak…)

It was ‘The Homewrecker’s', a new team to the venue who wagered big in the final round and came out on top. ‘Army of Skanks’ took second with ‘The Sirens of Titan’ placing a conservative wager on the final question and winding up in third, out of the money, but still getting some great CD’s supplied by the guys at CC’s for their effort.
