Why Kermit? He’s green! And green was the theme of this week’s quiz at the Big Time Brewing Co. in Seattle. But with finals and March Madness going on, it was an intimate affair, with just four teams competing for the pot. The good news: Every team left with a prize!

And it was a surprisingly close game throughout, with just a handful of points separating each team all the way to the end. Teams were well versed in St. Patty’s Day trivia and they knew a lot about green things. And Irish things. And green Irish things.

The Fact or Crap handout proved a lot of fun this week, with nobody believing it was against the law to film crows. But it is. Also, nobody correctly identified Mr. Green Jeans from “Captain Kangaroo” on the Green Screen handout. He’s a green icon people!

Coming out of the final question, third place contenders Last Chance wagered the least — and since all of the teams answered the question incorrectly — they won, taking down the pot. It may not have been a huge victory, but it was a satisfying one. Here they are enjoying their loot.
