What a sophomore week! The teams kept pouring in at Captain Ron’s. We get lots of newbie teams as well as a couple veteran ones. Everyone is still so excited about all the hubbub. It’s a lot of fun to be a part of. Sherwood DOES like to have fun and they DO know some stuff.
Bingo was a little tough….the bingo win finally came with only about 6 questions left. It’s Short, But It’s Skinny took the bonus points for that round. Round 2 wasn’t horrible…but still a little tough for most of this younger crowd.
The There Can Be Only One handout was mostly a cinch but the Africa Capitals match up was brutal…it slaughtered just about everyone. Everyone was having a great time, though. The people at Captain Ron’s like to congregate and socialize and do trivia, for sure.
The top 3 teams wound up being Killer Bunnies, Crossed Eyed Marys and It’s Short, But It’s Skinny. Everyone placed their bets and everyone answered correctly. It’s Short took the win, barely, by 1 point over the Cross Eyed Marys. What a close one!! Killer Bunnies will be back to avenge their slight.
