Yes, those Beigers & Beigettes rose up from 5th place to win the big $204 pot at Bridgeport, the biggest they’ve won. Good for you! It was a very decent crowd of 68 good humored folks looking forward to the warm weather just around the corner. Its always great to see NEW TEAMS in the mix (Great Balls of Fire, the Belles) and teams that give it a great effort (Patricia Furpurse- what a great name!). David Gallic, our new quizmaster in training, was with me to help run the quiz smoothly. I thank the teams that complimented my on my “swift paced” quiz. Always a pleasure doin’ biz!

Oh, and a big “Sorry Charlie” to Cattle Prodigy, who scored fantastically throughout the quiz, but blew the final challenge round. HATE it when that happens! Don’t believe me? Well, just be glad I didn’t do what this woman did after the 2000 election…..
