Just because I wanted to say ninja and zombies in the same sentence.  You know, because I’d a guy.  Someday I’ll figure out how to do the one-headline-trifecta: Ninja, Zombie, Pirates.  It will be a good day to be a dude on that day.

Congratulations to We Heart Brains for taking home the winner-take-all pot last night!

The one-man team calling himself “Edible Paper Clips” actually dominated all night long – but just like in a poker tournament, you can win all night, but it’s the last hand that matters.  He bet a pretty strategically sound amount of about half his points, but the end question proved too tough for all teams playing and We Heart took the win with a smart bet of zero points!

Hopefully next week we won’t have 95+ degree temps, and I say thank you again to those who came out during the (3rd?) heat wave (of the Summer).  The lure of trivia and ice-cold beer was good enough to get peeps out to play – can’t wait till next week when we have, you know, Oregon temps again.  Which reminds me, it’s time to mow the lawn.
