Yes, we had a huge crowd at the Thirsty Lion.  Yes, the pot was enourmous.  But that’s not the pub quiz first – no, friends, it finally happened!  Someone brought in a picture that was so awful, I just couldn’t put it on the blog out of good conscience!  The best part is, it’s a REAL AD, completely unintentional in it’s awfulness.  It’s a horrible thing to pique your interest about such a thing and not show you what it was, but I just can’t do it!  I can’t post it here!  :)

But enough about that, congratulations to Yahtzee! for taking home a sizeable first place pot!  I was so flustered by that disturbing “found dirtyness” that I forgot to snap their picture for the blog before they left.  Instead, I’ll post some fun “found porn” from the wonderful wide world of the web:

We had some really strong trivia stars last night, definitely some serious competition at The Thirsty Lion these days!  Good thing they are all awesome too, or it’d be more cutthroat.  It’s like playing a game of Monopoly, or Risk, and it being civil.  It’s less rare to lose friendships over those games than it is to have a good time, yet with trivia at the Lion, the trivia gurus pull it off in good humor.  Even when they bring in awful, awful found porn.  :)
