Alright, now don’t say I didn’t warn you in advance on my FACEBOOK PAGE. But Thursday night was a truly magical Pub Quiz at the Belmont Inn, because Jack Skellington himself stopped by for our Tim Burton-themed Pub Quiz!

Okay, that might’ve actually been Josh from “Can You Smell the Stank?” but still, magical nonetheless, and hilarious to beat the band. Of course he earned his team 18 bonus points for the get-up, which he wore throughout the entire quiz. (Well, he did take the head off, at least).

And bonus points aside, it was great to see Stank in the Challenge Round, squaring off against the fearsome twosome, “No Mouth Monkeys” and “Beige Food.” BF was all business this week, systematically dismantling the quiz from Round 1 to the Challenge Round. It looks like they are on a mission to reclaim the top spot on the BELMONT STEAK STANDINGS, which they lost to the Monkeys last week.

The Monkeys, meanwhile, were not the most gracious champions. I may not play any tribute song to them next week. Check the rules, boys:

“Reigning Champs may, at their discretion, select a Fight Song, which they can give to the Quizmaster to play at his/her discretion in tribute to the reigning champs.”

Yup… who’s your daddy now, Monkeys?

Well, technically, I think Beige Food might be, since they took down the champs and walked out with the cash. Oh, and in addition, they got a lovely photo with Josh Skellington for the blog:
