Does anyone else feel like a vampire just for living in Oregon?  For realz, it’s some Stephenie Meyer-Charlaine Harris-Laurell K. Hamilton-Patricia Briggs-Kelly Armstrong type of shit!  Wow, between my mother, sister, and friend Jenn harping on vampires I know a LOT of horror authors.  I met Laurell K. Hamilton once.  Well, actually I interrupted her speech by walking through a crowd in Borders once.  I said sorry and she said it was okay.  On a microphone.  In front of 300 women.  Who then all looked my way for like 3 seconds. Awkwaaaaaard…

Congratulations to the Geeks United, who took first place this week!

Bah, I knew the picture was blurry.  Oh well!  Geeks United were strong all night despite a very challenging quiz, and took home prize number 1!

In second place were the Dynamic Duo, which means between first and second place, there were only 5 people total!  Oh, and Tim from team Surf & Turf won the Bucket O’ Cash this week!

That picture is freaking awesome, congrats Tim!  The man knows how to fan out a fistful of cash.  I especially like the Christmas lights in there, for some excellent symbolism.  Cash is the best present ever!
