It’s been a tumultuous road for Rake of Blood lately.

The stalwarts on Tuesdays at Biddy McGraw’s, their in the mix each and every week, almost never missing a Pub Quiz, but wins have come at a premium.

Schadenfreude and the Green and White Army have been piling on the wins lately, and a host of other teams have recently broken through into first place money.

The Rake have had to make a tough go of it.

But not this week.

Up near the front from the get-go, Rake never let up. Five teams were pushing the pace, but this week’s questions weren’t easy.

But make no mistake, Rake loves the meat.

And now that they’ve once again tasted sweet, sweet victory (and that plate of awesome Biddy’s Irish Nachos!) I’m betting it won’t be long ’til their pictures graces this blog as champions once again.
