Well we made it to the last pub quiz in the last week of the year. Crazy to think that we are just hours from the brand new year! I feel like I’m in a time warp cuz I don’t feel like it is New Year’s Eve.

Anyhoo….we had a defecting team, 5 Beavers, 1 Dick, from The Thirsty Lion who had to get their last dose of pub quiz before the new year. We also had the team with the ever-changing name…they presented themselves as Yes We Did! We tried to get the LOUD pinball players to join in the quiz…but I think they’re scared.

So we plunged into the bingo round, head first. The Beavs took an early lead with the bingo bonus points. They kept on moving forward with that lead as they scooped up most of the possible points in the Who Am I round. The handouts were pretty fun for all and the points were earned and tallied. The Beavs got to pick the challenge round category…and both teams answered correctly. The Beavs had the advantage of having enough points to wager and still be able to cover their asses, in the event that they got the answer wrong. But, since that didn’t happen…they took the final victory of 2008. Yay Beavers!! Oh and yay to the one dick, too. The Yes We Dids got a few bucks from taking second…so woohoo for them!!

So my favorite resolutions:

Stop molesting children (Michael Jackson, is that you at my pub quiz??)

Get my shit together and move out of my parents’ place.
