The 108 was very fun this week – it’s growing steadily and once the holiday season is done with (not to mention the rediculous weather) it should quickly grow into a great pub quiz night. It’s got all the ingredients: good location, nice interior, awesome staff, and BEER. Not to mention some good food!

Team Wasted took the top spot tonight, getting the final challenge question correct. Our 2nd place team only had two people playing, but they were kicking booty until the last question. They bet BIG, (go big or go home!) which shows they have what it takes to get first place. Until next time 108 patrons!

Happy new year. We’re almost to 2010, which is weird in a Stanley Kubrick/Arthur C. Clarke collaboration sort of way. But of course people were weirded out when 1984 rolled around, and that turned out just fine I guess.

Here’s to another year gone by without a supervirus pandemic or meteor that even Bruce willis can’t stop. Take that, random chance! The human spirit lives on!
