So I had the task of filling in for Miss Polly at CC Slaughters. This is a fantastic group of people-Bar staff included! They welcomed me with open arms and a nice, strong drink. My kind of people!!

I collected New Year’s resolutions…the majority of which were to quit smoking. I suppose nobody wants to freeze their balls off while blackening their lungs. Besides, if you go outside to smoke, you might miss something!

We got into the Bingo round, after the bar team made sure everything was absolutely perfect for me. What a way to pamper someone!

Bingo was a little tough…we finally got a winner when we had about 3 answers to reveal! Way to go, Dai Bach!! Round 2 was A to Z and it went pretty well. The Crossword handout was really tough…and the crowd let me know…kindly, of course. The Spoiler handout was mostly easy….so the points accumulated. We had the Streeps and Dai Bach neck and neck, separated by only 1 point!! The Streeps picked the challenge category….and none of the teams knew the answer. The Streeps had wagered very conservatively…so they took the spoils. The Bar Hookers were the runners-up.

Fun was had by all…and I left feeling pretty warm and well-liked.
