Thanks up front to everyone that waited on your lovable QM last night, my apologies on arriving late, but I think we made up for that with FUN in the second round. Everyone loves Sing it or Question the Xmas game that we play at PQ for the holidays. I know I do. It was great to see so many teams come up to sing along and give a good shot at making some beautiful Christmas music.

I liked the “Let make a deal” bonus ops throughout the night also. It’s fun to see what random crap people shove into a pocket or purse as they go through the day. What was disturbing was JUST HOW MANY of those random Christmas items Sam dropped the ball team member had in her purse. EVERYTIME I called out for an item, she came a runnin up to show off her goods. (Sans the ONE TIME when NICK suddenly appeared in front of me when I said “Anyone named Nick-5points!” I’ve never seen anyone run that fast) She had cards, Christmas socks, candy canes, AND a ribbon. I called her out on the last one though, didn’t give her points for it. She was a little freakishly into the Christmas spirit. Whenever I would call out an item, it was like a Mary Poppins moment, she’d reach into that giant ass bag of hers and reach WAY DOWN inside like up to her armpit, and lo and behold…ITEM! I’m now begining to think, perhaps she really was either: ELF, MRS.CLAUS, MARY POPPINS, or perhaps OCD. Not judging, just saying. Nonetheless, all those random items kept Sam dropped the ball in the top five, so good job on bringing the keeper of Santa’s enchanted bag with you tonight. Just goes to show, you never know what you’re going to find at a Pubquiz. Maybe even a tip jar if you look hard enough. Ho Ho Ho.
