One would be hard pressed to come up with a better theme for Hal’s than one that involves booze. Hal’s quizzers aren’t just professionally minded people…they are professional drinkers as well. Many might think that this is an insult, but I disagree. If you are the best in the world at something, regardless of the skill, you should be treated with the greatest dignity and respect on the planet. Hal’s quizzers are like Nobel laureates, MacArthur genius grant winners and reality tv show champions all rolled into one giant glass of booze.

Needless to say, it was a tough fight on Tuesday night, but the home team made up of Hal’s bar staff waltzed off with the BELT OF PUB QUIZ AWESOMENESS, and proved once again that their bartenders are the best in the business. Keeping with their previous requests, they asked not to be photographed for the blog. They are just to beautiful for the blogotubes to handle.

The rest of the teams did their best do hold the candle, but in the end everyone walked away with a prize… The owners donated $30 worth of bar gift certificates to the rest of the pack, letting everyone spend the rest of their night keeping with the booze themed quiz.
