Wow,

so get this.  Yesterday three of the lovely ladies, regulars at Bogey’s were celebrating birthdays.  I walked in and there were balloons everywhere, presents and cake.  Yum.  Also, I brought some fresh baked cookies, not knowing about these birthdays.  ON top of that, theme of the night was PARTY… so damn… talk about the cosmos being aligned.  The energy was off the hook, really fun night.  In fact, it was the best night of trivia, probably, of all time, so that was cool.

During name that tune, I played Leslie Gore’s it my party (and I’ll cry if I want to).  Right before the chorus comes on, I stop the music (as to not give the answer away).  When I stopped I heard it still playing…. but it wasn’t my recording.  It was the entire table at Bogey’s.  They even made it to “You would cry too if it happened to you”.  NO NO, I said!  Not good.  Then I decided, it was there party and they’ll SING if they want to, I couldn’t object to jovial people singing.  So we had a big sing along after that, but just with that song.  They have the voices of angels, those Bogey’s babes do, I tells ya what.

The only team to spell Hemorrhoids correctly was very embarrassed, and opted out of the points.  I understand.

Team Bogey’s came in second place, if you notice the three ladies in the middle, they are from left to right, Phyllis, Brenda and Carolyn, and they all shared birthdays within the past week, look how radiant they are, I loved handing them money and cookies.  And the compensated me with ice cream and laughs.  

In first place was Team Shug McKenzie.  and they played a hard game, glad to see them win this week.  They were very happy, and totally earned it.  I love there unique team name variations they give me every week too.  Much thanks for keeping things shaken up.
