There is a problem that is plaguing our nation. Specifically in the area that is currently inhabited by the Sellwood Public House. This menace threatens to destroy everything that our nation holds dear and may spread to the rest of the world. That menace is of course….the Manbearpig!!

Team ‘Manbearpig’ to be precise, and after a thrilling victory in the final round of last night’s quiz at Sellwood Public House they hope to continue their march of domination into the next few weeks.

Although it was ‘Manbearpig’ that came out on top, the whole rest of the night belonged to ‘Pork Chop Express’ who after trailing in the bingo round, took the lead and never looked back. Team ‘Sharkey’, who won the bingo round, lost most of their momentum when ‘Michelle Obama’s Arms’ took most of the double Jeopardy points. This was one of the closest quizzes I have ever been involved with. When deciding who would enter the final round ‘Pork Chop Express’ was clearly the leader, but the next three point totals were 180, 179, and 178. ‘Michelle Obama’s Arms’ was crushed and regretted not ordering that second Scottish Ale point beer.

The final question involved the Lorax, who speaks for the trees, and you are cutting them down as fast as you please!! I suppose ‘Pork Chop Express’ were never read to as children and so they lost their lead and the competition to ‘Manbearpig’. Until next time, I invented the internet and …. EXCELSIOR!!
