It’s INDIE week here at Pub Quiz USA. That means indie bands, indie movies, Indy racing, Indi-ana Jones, the west Indies, etc., etc.
Chances are, it’s so hip, so underground, so indie – well, you probably haven’t even heard of it. And even if you have heard of it, I’m sure you wouldn’t get it.
At Biddy’s on Tuesday, the quiz was so low-fi, so indie, a couple of teams whom you’ve never even heard of earned all glory.
So fitting…
Sukdith had a come from behind first place victory, when perennial contenders Rake of Blood couldn’t muster the fortitude to bet like they needed to. (And they had the category choice!)
When Rake fell from 1st, From the Land of Sky Blue Waters was the benefactor, cashing in at 2nd, unexpectedly.
And I thought Pabst was the beer choice of the “indie” crowd…

I love this post. I think I’ll have to give JPP a hard time tomorrow night for not beating you to it.
Do indeed give him a hard time if you wish, but definitely don’t mention me…
The last thing I want to do is beg comparison and start an internal PubQuiz blogging feud with a professional writer.
What is it they say, don’t start fights with those who buy their ink by the barrel? Something tells me that the computer age hasn’t necessarily leveled that playing field, at least not in such a way that it would give me a fightin’ chance.
