I would first like to congratulate the ‘Fixed Gears’ (who were previously team ‘Do you really want to hurt me with your flair?’) on winning the weekly contest of “Design Tony’s Beard”. Here is the before and after:

It was retribution for ‘Extraneous Eye Patches’ this week at Schmizza Pub & Grub. After three consecutive weeks of chasing the leaders and settling for second place, they came home with the top prize! Somebody in that group knew her music.

Although the ladies of ‘Extraneous Eye Patches’ lead throughout the night, there was still stiff competition to be had. Teams ‘Fixed Gear’ and ‘We <3 Brains’ traded blows for second and third while nipping at the heels of the ‘Eye Patches’. The final round was a tight race by only 40 points between the three teams, and they took their wagering seriously. While ‘We <3 Brains’ decided to leave off some points just in case the others were wrong as well, ‘Fixed Gears’ knew that they had to go for it all. Team ‘Extraneous Eye Patches’ could’ve played it safe and wagered nothing with their lead, but they too were confident and wagered a substantial portion of their points that would be enough to give them the lead. As it turned out, each team answered the last question correctly keeping the rankings the same.

Well played girls, well played. Let’s see if they can keep their crown next week or will another team rise from the ranks and take their place?
