Bueller … Bueller …

(Anyone other than my fellow QuizMasters, that is.  I see you Polly, QM JPP, etc.)

I’m just looking for a little comment here.  An opinion.   A tiny bit of  reinforcement that these blog posts are getting across to my weekly Pub Quiz audience.

It’s not that I’m a super entertaining blogger.  (I’m not, I know – and I’ve accepted it.)  But I do post your picture each and every week (assuming you’re a member of the winning team…) This week, it’s the Green and Dwight Army, that lovable bunch of soccer fanatics who have now come through twice in three weeks’ time, from barely edging out a few other teams for 3rd place heading into the Final Challenge Round to ending up with all the cash and glory by betting right and nailing the final question.

What prompted this blog post, though, was the winning team themselves.

They’re nearly always one of the first teams to sign up each week, often having to split up to form two or even three separate teams.  They nearly always bank some bonus points, and they’re on the email list (with one notable exception, which I’m sure we’ll get figured out at some point soon, I promise.) So, with all the Pub Quiz dedication clearly evident, I was surprised to hear them ask, “What’s the picture for?”

What’s it for? What’s it for?!?!

Why, it’s only my weekly attempt to pen a bit of fine lit that recaps the week’s action and sends a pic or two out into the far reaches of cyberspace, literally spanning the globe with a pic of your mugs.

You know, no big deal.

So maybe I need to make it a big deal?  Maybe I can offer a hint?  Maybe a some bonus point opportunity?  Maybe I’ll just start putting up pics of myself.

I don’t know, but something needs to spark a bit of change.
