Great first night for me at Thirsty Lion, where the video quiz rocks your socks.  Thirsty Lion puts up all sorts of awesome stuff, including a free bottle of champagne for getting closest to the Thirsty Lion question of the week – which is a numerical answer, sort of like our old-school final round used to be (for those that remember, high five).  They also have a big prize wheel for you to spin if you get another question correct, with stuff like 20% off your next meal there and the like.  They go the extra mile at the Thirsty Lion.

Plus, they are smart and shit, too!  I speak of course about their bar team, The Thirstiest Lions, who took first place last night!  They were kicking boot-ay all night, and got the final challenge round question right.  I think I’ve heard of Banksy once before, but damn, that was a hard question – well done!  Their $44 in winnings will roll on over to tomorrow’s pot, so make sure you are there, cuz the pot will probably be huge on Wednesday.

I had a good time, and I’m glad to meet the staff and players alike at the Thirsty Lion.  I’ll be back next week, and I’ll probably F something up, so make sure you are there to catch me making some goofy mistake.  It’s all in good fun, so I’m still lookin’ forward to it.
