The Green and White Army has grown.
Surely and steadily, the Guinness-swilling, Timbers-loving, trivia aficionados have increased their numbers, seemingly growing exponentially each week. When they max out at 6 members, they simply spin off a second team, just as competitive as the original.
This week, though, the unprecedented occurred. The Green and White Army recruited so many compadres, they had to split into THREE teams — and each was competitive, right up until the end.
Both the original team and the offshoot Aces were in the top three teams throughout the night, with If You Lived Here, You’d Be Home Already not too far behind.
Perennial contender Schadenfreude was also in the mix, trailing the Aces by a single point going into the Final Challenge Round.
Aces had the category choice, but tried to play it safe and stay in the money with a wager of zero.
The problem was, though, that Schadenfreude went with the same strategy, effectively eliminating them from contention for the 1st place spot.
It all came down to how the Green and White Army played their hand, trailing in third by nearly 30 points. Their decision? All in…
“Oh, boy!” — not only the last words of each Quantum Leap episode and the answer to the the final question, but a rather accurate euphemism for the all screaming and shouting from Green and White Army, after learning their all in paid off, literally.
Every week at Biddy’s, the crowd keeps growing, the pots keep getting bigger, and the competition gets tougher…
See you next week!

Awesome write up! Go go green and white!
