That’s right ladies and gentlemen, last night at CC Slaughter’s we had TWO beautiful male strippers stop in for some quick trivia before hitting the pole. (Do male strippers use a pole? Stage perhaps?) Anyway, it was the highlight of my evening. They stood really close, and smelled especially delightful, not to mention the fact that they were some of the hottest boys around town. A nice respite from my nerd festy times I usually frolick in. Not that I don’t love nerds, I mean, c’mon, I”m the biggest nerd-loving chic you’ll ever meet. But once in a while, a little break from the frontal lobes is nice. Right ladies? And fellas.
Phew. Ok, now that I’ve cleared those gorgeous men from my system, let’s talk quizzing. We had another new team that stopped by last night, who knows where they came from (Probably my twitter feed) and seemed to have a groovy time playing the quiz. We hope to have them back at CC’s next Monday night. They called themselves “Team Fail” but they didn’t fail too badly, staying in a close third throughout the game. Angel’s Ladies had the lead, and hung on to that all the way up to the bitter end, when out of the blue, The O’Streeps swooped in and wagered a ton of points to win the game. Thus, the O’Streeps took home all the cash.
Nice job quizzing last night folks, don’t forget to get in on the Quiz against the Quizmaster action, it’s going to be a grand ol’ time kicking your asses this year. Mark my word, this is, indeed a year for us to master the quiz. We shall take thee down. All of thee.
