The Suspicious Wenches of Ale! The Notorious Madames of Mead!

Yes, this week the Beer Whores took the quiz to the wall!  They did so-so in Bingo, but along with Dazed & Confused, they rocked the house on a very difficult Name That Tune round 2.  They were doing well going into the final round, and snagged the win with a correct answer on the final question!

The second place prize went to Dazed & Confused, who proved they can keep their cool under the constant bombardment from the Sheep Shaggers.  Who I think are like the angry drunk bear that deep down, is  really just… drunk & angry…  But DEEPER down, they also really love honey.  Which is Dazed & Confused.  They are the honey.

Okay, okay, so I don’t have the comedic timing of Nathan Fillion, but you know what I mean.  That’s from Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, by the way.  If you haven’t seen it, you are missing something awesome.  It’s become a bit of a phenomenon, so it might be hard to find for free, but I know it’s on “watch instantly” on Netflix, if you are into that sorta thing.

Special mention tonight to two teams – first, The Dynamic Duo, a 2-person team which went from winning 2nd place, to 1st place, to last place in three weeks.  I told them tonight that now they’ve been clapped for, boo’d at, and taunted, they are now part of the family.  Nothing says “come on in!” like 8 people screaming “YOU SUCK!”  Feel the love.

Second, props to team “Her First Mistake”.  For one thing, she was a single person team and made it to the top 3, and another thing, her team name was PSYCHIC.  I don’t think she is psychic, mind you, but her team name was!  It’s the title of a Lyle Lovette song, who had a song on round 2′s Name That Tune.

Feel free to get goose bumps.
