4 teams.  1 Champion.  Winner take all.  (And no sappy acceptance speeches, either!)

That’s how it went Thursday night at Hal’s Tavern. Amidst a few rounds on the best shuffleboard table in the city, teams battled for all the marbles, and when it came down to it: no guts, no glory.  Gold Member had a small lead early on, riding their bonus points from their Oscar statuettes.  Panic! at Hal’s,  $3 Donation, and Bad at Math were never far behind, though, and stayed within striking distance throughout. And when there’s four teams and one pot to be won, well, everyone’s got a shot!

In the end, though, it was just Gold Member‘s day – finally edging out Bad at Math in the Final Challenge Round by 1 little point, 291-290.
