Pork Chop Express ^ Cattle Prodigy ^
Sharky ^ Cattle Prodigy
As you can see we had some impressive redesigns going on Wednesday night at the Sellwood Public House. I liked the sparkly aluminum covered Oscars created by team Sharky (now with matching team shirts!) And the impressive clay work in the Priness Natiri and Oscar the Grouch are not to be overlooked. Please note the attention to detail and that the penis Oscar came in being worn around the neck of a Sharky team member. Sadly, the balls were a little loose and the penis was quite limp and unable to prop up the metal Oscar, but still, an impressive member (HA!) for the team.
It was team Sharky with their new team t-shirts (I’ll get a pic of that when you win!) that dominated the game from the start, staying at least two points ahead of second place team Cattle Prodigy last night, no one scored a bingo, thus the scores stayed close throughout. CP didn’t fare well on the hand outs, or not as well as Sharky, thus they fell back 15 points by the final question. Sadly for Sharky and the new team shirts looking for glory, the final question and the wager did them in, and it was third place team New Quiz on the Block that hopped up to first place with a conservative wager, thus, skyrocketing them into the winning cash and all the glory that is winning at Pub Quiz.
Winning team: New Quiz on the block ^
Now, if you’d like to see more pictures from this week of Pub Quizzing, and all the great Oscars, as well as get CLUES to next week’s games, join me on twitter: @QMPolly or on my FB page. I’m looking for friend #300 to round out the weekend, and whomever claims that righteous spot will claim a prize from me personally next week. Who’s it going to be?
ALSO : Don’t let Quizmaster Jpp win our bet about the “Best Oscar” this week, be sure to log in and vote here on the blog for your favorite Oscar, and mention the team’s redesign you like best, as well as ME when you do it. There may be a special something in it for the winning Oscar. Good Luck!
