If I had to guess who this mustache belonged to, hands down it would be Bill Paxton. I hear this is how he rocks his personal hygiene when away from the stage and the screen. Really, look at those eyes. This guy is a dead ringer, even with the handlebar soup strainer!

Other than our awesome Mustache Men handout, there wasn’t a whole lot of creative facial hear going on in Vancouver last night. There were quite a bit of last-minute hair-don’ts, wigs, glittered up ‘dos and purple dye jobs in the spirit of the evening.

Also in the spirit, at last, was “Team Shanahan,” who until last night, hadn’t won since the opening night a few months back. They earned their keep, fending of second place “They F-ing Rock,” and also-rans “Burning Betties” and “Confucius Says.” However, the house team is not keeping their winnings — they’re donating it to next week’s prize in order to dodge any accusations of favoritism or impropriety.

What swell guys, huh? I didn’t manage to catch a picture of them before they took off. Seems they had to go “run the bar” or something. Funny thing about this victory: If you ever watch them play, they’re always running out to put out some fire or another during the quiz. ‘Tis truly amazing that they pulled this one out!
