Wow, what a topsy-turvey Oscar-themed quiz we had at the Belmont last night. First off, we had just enough people to make the 5-team final round, THEN, we had some old friends return for their first quiz in years, and finally, we had some great handouts right before the Challenge Round that totally upended the results.

After taking last week off to recharge and do whatever the hell else you all do when you’re not at Pub Quiz, the Wildcatters came back and took first place for the evening. Just look at how pumped they were after winning!

The Wildcatters beat out a pretty heady set of competitors: second place belonged to “The Inglourous Monkeys,” third place was all “Panda-monium” (which I will point out was comprised of some of the original No Mouth Monkeys!), fourth was “Sexual Nepalm” (who hadn’t been to the Belmont in over a year, so they said) and fifth was “And the Oscar for Beige Food goes to”…

Look at that, it’s a two-dog fight, but beware the Wildcatters who proved last night that they can still come from behind and make it interesting.
