Ya, usually a post with that title would have something to do with the terrible assholes that were yelling the answers, or some drunks that wandered in to raise hell.  We got none of that going on in Sellwood, instead, tonight, it’s about the winning team at the Sellwood Public House.  That name gave me some creepy heebie jeebies conjuring up images of “The people under the stairs”  Of course, they did sit right in the light tonight, and didn’t say anything especially creepy, or lunge at people.  They didn’t even moan, scream or make much of a fuss. If it wasn’t for their presence  in the top teams right from the start, those “People at the end of the bar” would have nearly gone unnoticed. I think they left the more  noisy outgoing, members of the team at home tonight.  But they obviously knew a thing or two about broken hearts, and lost love.  They only missed a couple of questions on the hand out about the marriages of famous folks, and they got a perfect score on the movies. And while we speak here of perfect scores, I have to mention that tonight’s round 2 was a Quizlinks game. It was a challenging round, and one team clawed their way from the bottom three teams up to the top with that stunning second round domination.  That team was Chile Con Carnivale.  Hat’s off to them for such a great win tonight.

Oooh and guess what I found in the back room at the Sellwood tonight?  A GUITAR HERO game.  Hooked up to a TV, for anyone at all to play.  Not to mention, darts, poker, and pool.  Now, guitar hero. It’s like a gaming paradise back there.
