I borrowed that quote from Sawyer, who, btw, I fee like I know intimately know after grading those nick name hand outs. That was quite an ordeal. Of course, getting to know ol’ James Ford might be quite an ordeal itself, I’d imagine. All those days on that island, tanning, getting fit, with that scruffy hair, toting that gun around, shirtless.
Since Sawyer didn’t know where to start, we started with Bingo. We had a moment of crazy last night with some premature exclamation as Little Lost Nemo yelled Bingo on the four corners, then when I had to check it, DENIED, they did not have a bingo, in fact. However, just a couple questions later, they did have one. Which they had to split with The Wildcatters, a team of two that hail from the Belmont, to be reckoned with. They strutted into Bridgeport looking like Charles Widmore and an “other” and took a commanding lead from Bingo on.
With our contest for impersonators, it was It was like a scene right off the island last night. We had John Locke, Charles Widmore, two Charlies, and Miles. One team even brought in a baby doll, calling it Aaron. I’d say my favorite costumes were ALL OF THEM! You guys rock! Sorry my camera/ phone decided to be totally retarded last night and eat the pictures, not to mention all my phone calls and numbers. I saved one, of the team that was not in costume, but fought hard and took second place, Vincent’s Red Rocket. See below. Also, a pic of Eboni doing her best Charlie impersonation, she even brought a guitar along. Our Charles Widmore costumed fellow from The Wildcatters got up and did an impersonation of Claire. It was spot on, and it won him, and his other teammate a nice fat pitcher of beer!

Last night’s first place team was The Underwear bombers of flight 815. (Think about that name a bit) It was a hodge podge (lost, if you will) team of 5 that found themselves thrown together on that crazy island of the Bridgeport Brewery. They came together with some island folk, and some “others” and made a run for it. They seemed to be carrying the right dharma, as at the end of the night, they knew the answer to the final question, and they took the winning pot with a mighty wager. It was nearly $100 for first place, with our leading team, The Wildcatters being pushed back to third. Still, with third they took home $40. Nice winnings with big crowds.
So, next week is the big Tuesday night premiere, eh? I hope you are all DVR’ing it, or planning to watch online, cause I’ll still be at Bridgeport Tuesday night’s waiting for you. I hope you all make it out next week! Don’t get too wrapped up in that silly program, we’ve got bar games to play damn it!
I was so glad to be adopted by our “Supergroup” (that’s what I’m calling us). And any time I get to sing, it’s a good quiz night for me! You aaaall everybody!!!
That was a great group you put together! It’s nice to see new teams to the Bridgeport making it to the top 5. Even when they have some alumni with them.
Pretty sure its “I got so many answers to THAT question, not your.
