Uh, sorry about that. So yeah, it was actually GREAT fun at the Belmont last night. The house was packed full of teams (lots of two-person teams at that — don’t you people have more brains to bring?) and we had a little impromtu Christian Bale Rant impersonation after Round 1. Brendan from the Wildcatters won some bonus points for his team by basically SCARING EVERYONE SHITLESS with his Welsch-accented-tirade. I really thought he was going to trash my —— set right there in the Belmont.
As fun as it was, it was still a vicious fight for the top prize. Going into the Challenge Round, “Doug Chew and the CSRs” were in first, followed by “Greatest American Monkey,” “Team YMBP,” “Wildcatters,” and “Beige Food Hero Got Stars in his Eyes,” respectively. And after the final question was asked, the order totally flipped on its ear: Beige Food came in first place, Wildcatters were in the money in second, YMBP also walked out in the green, and Greatest American Monkey beat out Doug Chew, who came in last. Here’s a photo of the night’s top team, Beige Food, who are also the reigning BELMONT STEAK CHAMPS:
