I was generous with the bonus points tonight, you’ve all inspired me this week with your text messaging help over to Haiti, and all of your generous giving. It was great to see how much Portland cares, and to see that you, my fine feathered quizzers help when people need it. It’s amazing, it’s touching, and yes, it’s helping. So, tonight, as people brought up the papers and phones and messages showing all the giving, I gave back, to you, via bonus points. It’s the least I could do, and I was never happier to give you points for something “required” than I was tonight. Thanks Portland, for all you do, and all the ways you’re awesome. With the nearly 50 people we had in the quiz tonight at the Bridgeport Brewery, I’d say I saw at least $1000 worth of real, honest cash going over to people who really need it. My hat’s off to you tonight my beloved Pearl district quizzers. I know I won’t see as much generosity anywhere else this week, and with that knowledge you should hold your heads high. It was great to also hear the positive feedback about the bonus point opps this week, we’re glad you’re glad we encouraged you to give. It’s a freaking love fest, trust me.
