The night was filled with drama, bloody knives, evidence bags, and what looked like sidewalk chaulk. At least no one was killed… or was there… no, no there wasn’t… Teams at the BTBC sure seemed to enjoy the theme this week, from “And if you enhance this image” our winner to battling Law and Order teams “FU” and “HDU:Heavy Drinking Unit”. It turned out to be quite the battle with some teams capitalizing on the double jeopardy throwing them into the final round for the big cash prize at the end. The final round came down to who waggered the correct amount of money, and one of our veteran teams knew just what to do. Coming into the round in 3rd place they waggered a meager 30 points due to the difficult category chosen. None of the teams were able to correctly answer the final round question, so “And If You Enhance This Image” swooped in and stole the victory from “JAM” and “Just Another Trivia Team”. What should we as quiz enthusiast take out of this? It’s not always those who wager all their points who wins, sometimes strategy really does play an important role… Until next time…
