‘Chung Chung’!! I laughed till I cried, then threw up, then cried some more. I didn’t get it at first, but it’s the sound made on Law & Order. Once I figured this out, well, you can understand the laughing, crying, and throwing up.
I’m not sure if it’s me or just the way things have been going, but the last few quiz competitions have all been tight races with surprise endings. This week was no different.
We had the ‘Usual Suspects’, both literally and figuratively, leading the way all up till the final round when they dropped out due to lack of time wasted on watching EVERY CRIME DRAMA SHOW EVER!
Then there is ‘Nancy Drew’s Hardy Boys’. I thought they had it. They hung in there till the last round, took the lead, picked the category that they knew they could ace, and then somehow dropped the ball. So close yet so far.
It was ‘Still No Clever Name’ s night with a huge surge during Jeopardy and almost perfect scores on the handouts to catapult them into the final round. The category was X-files and most of the teams were confident, but ‘Still No Clever Name’ played it safe and won big.
I was unable to get a picture of the couple who took home the gold, but here is an artist rendering of one of them.
