Yep, they did such a great job tonight, I titled my blog post AND I put the picture right up front! Nice going team! This team, Just take my money now! was in last place last week, and as you can imagine, quite sad about it. They vowed to come back this week with a vengeance and this my quizzy friends they did. I took their money, but in the end, they took YOUR money.

Quite the pot this week at Sellwood. We had just under 40 people, and 10 teams rocking out tonight to our creepy crime drama theme. Once in awhile in the weekly sign up madness, you get a team name that is just so perfectly the perfect quiz team name that you have to give a point or two for extra credit. This week, that team was “Deborah does Dexter” if you know the show Dexter, and the ensuing relationship off screen between C Michael Hall and Cursing girl-what’s her name his on screen sister (but not by blood mind you) you’ll know how awesome that team name is. Oh wait, are they blood related? Was Harry his real father? Did Dexter’s mom sleep with Harry and THEN have Dexter? Can you tell I”m a season behind since I watch on DVD and not on cable? NO SPOILERS in my blog, or I SWEAR TO GOD, I’ll cut you take your points away next week for it. I will.

*ahem* new paragraph. So, let’s just say this: I think tonight was one of those beautiful moments in quizzery, we had that smoking team “Just take my money NOW!” that won a victory well fought, we had that bitchin team name “Deborah does Dexter” we had a GREAT quiz, as well as some awfully creative answers for the HO’s. Which I shared with all of you. Glad you liked that. And yes, your QM and your writers do now that Entomology is the study of bugs, but it’s great to mess with you all and give the wrong answer of Bugology just to hear you all freak out in unison. I love when a whole bar shrieks at the same time.
