That’s right, if you missed tonight’s Monday night game, here are a few moments form the highlight reel:
Well, let’s just set away with that question about that bakery. I mean, nosy. For sure. I believe that some of you referred to it as “downright nosy” as a matter of fact. Who’s asking that bakery at the corner of 125th and Sandy where they get their bread? Nosy bastards. Then, we had the discussion about Scabies. Scabies. That’s right, on WINE and CHEESE night. SCABIES. We had a nice little talk, and it turns out that many a quiz player near you has had, or may indeed have NOW “roommates” with scabies. So watch that bodily contact that next time you’re quizzing. Don’t want to get to close up and personal if it ends with an itch and a rash.
The bar team plunged into the second round with vigor, even though it was just two of them playing tonight. Jordan really showed his worth when he missed Marianne Faithful AND the Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd you asshats *asshats here referring to all teams at play minus Jim’s team, of course, not just the bar please note*, Norrin Radd) but then he pulled Nicolas totally out of his ass to answer the question about Russian czars. Jordan was just as surprised as we all were with his answer, screaming out “I don’t even KNOW how to SPELL Czar!”
So, just to sum it up, we had some downright nosy bread questions, inquiries about The Silver Surfer and Nicolas II, talks about Scabies, and Marianne Faithfull. All in ONE night. Phew. I may have drank too much wine tonight, but let’s be clear, and this is not a joke, I’m with the guy from Sideways on this one “I WILL NOT DRINK MERLOT” so remember that for next week. And, don’t question my wine knowledge people, it came from a time before quizzing, in another land far away. But here’s betting it’s one of the catergories I WILL know more than you about. So, as they say in the Burgundy regions “Suck it”

PS, NORRIN RADD!! WTF!? I was very happy to say that I didn’t have the name of the F-ing Silver Surfer committed to memory. But now, thanks to Polly, I have deleted something useful in my brain to make way for a B-class comic book hero! Thanks a lot, Polly!!!
Hey, you’re welcome, that’s what I’m all about. Spreading the trivial knowledge and taking DOWN the real gutsy stuff like geography and math. Well, that and the Hokey Pokey, I’m ALL about that. But only when it’s in, and shaking.
