As some of you might have heard I am moving on from Quizmastering to follow my own endeavours. I just wanted to take a few moments to give a sincere and heartfelt thanks to ALL of you who have come out and played the Quiz with me over the past few years.

You have no idea how much your creativity, intelligence and humor have meant to me over the years. And even though there were some times when we didn’t quite see eye-to-eye on some questions…. or bonus points for that matter (LOL!). I hope you realize that I was always on your side… and just wanted to give you and your friends and family a great night out, with some laughs… good tunes… and drinks at some of the best bars in the city.

To all of the teams who win on a regular basis, I say that I am continually awed by your achievements. To walk into a bar each week and regularly walk out being able to say “I am smarter than they… and I have their money to prove it.”, is impressive indeed. It is very humbling to watch week after week you get answer after answer right… when I can’t even pronounce the questions correctly.

To all of the teams who don’t win regularly… you are the true reason I have loved this job. Watching you fight each and every week, knowing that it’s an uphill battle, but fighting all the same… just hoping that… this week… it’s gotta be this week… when the questions are going to fall our way and they’re going to ask the questions that only we know and we’re going to take it all!!!

There was no better feeling in the world than to watch your team on the night when the questions did fall in your favor… and you give the bloodcurdling yell of victory when the answer to the final question is read and you realized you had finally finished in the cash. You guys are the best! All of You!!

To the folks at Bogey’s… I don’t think I have to put into words here what you have meant to me… You know and I know. Thank You!

I also have to take this moment to thank all of the venues who have hosted me over the years. It has been a real pleasure to work with such professionals and I will always be greatful for the oppourtunity you gave me to do what I do… whatever that is. LOL!!!

To my fellow Quizmasters, I thank you for being there. Without each other to lean on, this job gets tough and lonely… you guys have been there for me and please know I’m still there for you.

I’ll be thinking of you as you are sitting there in front of your printer, praying that your cyan and majenta ink cartridges don’t run out as your printing that full color picture handout, ’cause you just have enough money in your wallet for gas and if you have to buy a new ink cartridge… you’ll have to rely on your tips to get you home…

Thanks to all of you who made sure I had enough gas to make it home!
