Yes, kind of a fitting theme for my last official Pub Quiz (though I will be back next week for all you Kurt fans out there) to have the Cowboy theme. Complete with my spurs and ass-less chaps, I jingle jangle jingled my way into Big Time Brewing Company tonight and saddled up. Former Team Highspeeders had one of the best team names of all time with Let’s Play Reverse Cowgirl And Indians. I hope they like my awesome illustration above. The very topical while also thematic Tiger Woods Hoedown represented, along with The Three Amigos Plus Eric Swanson (poor Eric) and newcomers Booze Over Brains, OHNO, and Not Cougs.

The Three Amigos pulled off a great feat in the Bingo round, squeezing out a Bingo with the 4 corners just as Tiger Woods got their Bingo. That kept them in the game. Unfortunately Not Cougs kinda “coug’d it” by bowing out during the second round. OHNO turned in a solid performance and Booze Over Brains was just outside of the top 3, a great showing for a new team and 3 person team so I look forward to seeing them again to claw their way up into the Big Time Pub Quiz elite. Thanks to an outstanding showing on one of the handouts, Reverse Cowgirl pulled just ahead of the Three Amigos and Tiger Woods going into the final challenge round. Strategic betting saved the day versus a tough question, and Let’s Play Reverse Cowgirl and Indians prevailed.
