That’s right dammit. THIS week, I had Quizmaster in training Ian there on the stage at Sellwood Public House to amuse and delight the ladies in the crowd. AND I would just like to point out to MOSTLY CONFUSED from last week, that my dear apprentice Ian mispronounced TWO words that *I* in fact corrected him on. Lepidopterist for one. I knew that word. Yep, totally knew it. *ahem* There really is something to be said for seeing a word and not saying it out loud at the same time you’re reading it. It’s strange how that works. I might have tirpped up on it given the oppurtuntiy to read it myself, however, since I was reading over dear Ian’s shoulder, I managed to look smart and witty. I also noted how nicely you all guided him along without ripping his ass to shreds for his miscommunication. I’ll remember *that*

Tonight we had team “Is it Star Wars theme yet?” playing and I”m not sure, but they seem to be gaining some IQ points each week as we play the game together. This week they took second. Second only to our winning team of the night Stuffed! I put that exclamation in for them, as I thought that Stuffed just wasn’t the same effect as Stuffed! See? You’re welcome. I rarely give out exclamation points in my tally’s even when asked for them. Sometimes I hold back. Sometimes I just tell you that I’ve given you that exclamation point, and don’t in fact record it as such. Even when you write in on your answer sheets. There’s a certain luck that goes with the coveted Bang!. I’ve seen many teams win after I added the bang! Like that! Bang! Win!

Congrats to our winning team tonight for that extra stuffing they get to take home to the dinner tomorrow. They will be Stuffed! with $51. I must say, I’m really enjoying the new venue at the Sellwood. Next week Ian is there with me, while I kick back and correct his pronunciations and have a drink with that team that offered it up..*ahem* Come see us next week, then, right before the Holidays, I’m off to vacation while Ian stays and hosts for you in my sad, much mourned absence. Never fear, I’ll be jetting back to the Quizmas party to hang with all of you again!
