We were in the Halloween spirit tonight at Big Time. The bar had some freshly carved pumpkins and we had a great Halloween themed quiz along with some Halloween themed quizzers. Big props to Where’s Waldo, Rubik’s Cube, the bear, and all of our other costumed quizzers for playing along and of course earning those awesome bonus points for their teams. Speaking of carving pumpkins, don’t some roasted pumpkin seeds sound good right about now? A little oil and salt, maybe some sugar or cinnamon, you are in for a taste treat. Unfortunately they didn’t make it to the final challenge round tonight, but I had to mention “Sam Sudar Rest In Peace”. Luckily Sam is still with us, but he is not with America for a while. We will certainly miss him at the quiz but wish him the best on his journey. I know that team has been training some replacements for the past few weeks so I am sure they will be just fine. Team Big Time had a strong showing in a very close match this week, but unfortunately was not able to make it to their usual spot near the top. Tim Burton’s Sex Fantasy ended up in 3rd place with a very consistent showing the whole night. Newcomers Back East had a great comeback through some intimate candy knowledge, leading the pack on both handouts. Megan Werewolf (formerly known as Megan Fox’s Hot Thumb) led from the start, got the Bingo bonus, and really never looked back. Their strategic minds paid of in the Arrogance round and in some great final challenge wagering, and made them tonight’s champions.
