The Belmont Steak Standings: Week 5

**** SPECIAL NOTE: The standings below are actually INACCURATE. This past week, an unholy union of Beige Food and TX took the top prize. (Oh god, I’m sickened by the thought of what their babies might look like!) I have no idea who to award the First Place 4 Points to. So, until I have this issue resolved, neither team has been awarded points for this week’s standings. ****

Alrighty then! Well, we’re five weeks in, and its a tight battle for the top, Quizzees.

Below you’ll find the Top Ten in the Belmont Steak Standings. For those teams not cracking the rankings yet, you get the motivational image above. (Sorry, but that’s all you get.) But, be aware, I am keeping track of all scores, regardless of how small, and if you want proof, you can check THIS LINK to see the Excel document that outlines ‘em.

And yes, technically, if two teams have the same score, then they would be tied for second place, for example. But I can’t arsed to go hand-editing the listings to reflect this (except for tenth place, as it wouldn’t make sense to list eleven teams in a “Top Ten”). So, no comments are necessary if you see that your team is listed in third, for example, when you’re clearly tied for second. You’re all able to do the math, and really the most important number is the difference in points between your team (wherever it may be) and the first place squad.

So, without further delay, your scores:

1 No Mouth Monkeys 12
2 Strokus Arcana 11
3 Beige Food 10
4 Can You Smell the Stank… ? 10

6 Michelle Obama’s Arms 5
7 Neal’s Danglers 5
8 Get Your Ass to Mars 5
9 The Wildcatters 4
10 TX 4

*Oh, and one last thing: If there’s an error in the scoring, as always, I’m more than happy to address it and fix the mistake. But I cannot change scores as a result of teams using team names that were different from week to week. I’ve made every effort to keep track of who’s who, but if you’re The Beatles one week and The Rolling Stones the next, well, there’s nothing I can really do about that (except say, “The Who is better.”)
