Alright, so I know I’ve been out of it for a little while, but have you SEEN the Space Room’s remodeled Brite Spot dining room? Next to the Mos Eisely Cantina, this has to be the most happening place this place in the universe! But seriously, while I was gone, they turned this place from a relic of a diner into a really cool Pub Quiz venue. If you’re free on a Wednesday night, come on down and see for yourself. Oh, and don’t eat at home — their food is affordable and tasty. (No, I’ve not been paid to say that. I truly love the days when they put the Club Sandwich on the special board.)

But then again, to the Wednesday regulars, this is hardly news, as the remodel has been complete for a couple weeks. And many of them were back for our balls-to-the-wall quiz this week. The Cougars — who if I’m not mistaken were first time Pub Quizzers — came and saw and kicked some ass! They walked out with first place after performing strongly all night long. Spoonful of Nuts performed an on-side kick for the Superbowl-related challenge round question. Their ZERO wager was enough to earn them second place. And No Future was unable to seize the day with the final question, so they walked out in third place.
