The Crooning and Dancing Styles of Rick Astley in Your face!! HAHAHAHA!!! I love it when a plan comes together!! LOL!! That’s one of the best things about the Visual rounds at The Thirsty Lion… you never know what you’re going to see!
It was a great night last night as we sat around playing with our balls. The great thing about the Lion is that not only do we have a lot of fun but there is all kinds of stuff we give away. First is the Thirsty Lion Trivia Challenge, where the guys at the Lion give us a question and we buy the team closest to the correct answer a bottle of champagne for their table! ‘The Gaza Strippers’ (Love that team name!) won last night by knowing their Olympic Soccer History.
Then we have the Walk of Shame Prize… thats where we award the lower end of the scoring spectrum at the end of the night… the only catch is you have to admit your quiz shame and walk up to my table a pick up your prize in front of everybody… O the Shame!! “Balls Across America” did so with Pride and walked off with Gift Certificates for each member of their team. NICE!!
Three teams got into the final round last night. “I Want to Dip My Beige Food in It!” was in the lead all night but stumbled in the final round and fell out of the cash. “Balls in the Family” with a cunning wager leapt into second… but that meant that the only team getting our final round question right would be our winners… and who was that… yep you guessed it… our current Widmer Cup Champs ‘T/X”. That’s three weeks in a row… Will anyone take them down?? There’s still a lot of time left so we shall see!!
