Good night at Park Lanes in Hillsboro! I missed some of our teams (Beer Whores, Slow News Day, Geeks United!) during balls week, which would have made it that much more fun. But that’s alright, the trifecta of trouble was there (D&C, MM, and SS) to give me more than a handful for the evening.

Taking the first place prize tonight was the 2-person hit squad calling themselves Beige Balls! Very impressive, and might I add, excellent name. In second came Dazed & Confused, to much hissing from the Shaggers and Miracle Max.

Next week brings with it Halloween – I assume it’s the theme in some fashion – so I’ll do my best to bring some snacky candies for people. I might even dress up if I can find the damn costume I want. That would mean not being lazy though, and I like me some laziness! I shall see you there!

Oh, and go see Zombieland. It’s as good, if not better, than Shaun of the Dead. No I didn’t think it was possible either, but it’s seriously worth checking out. Also, beware Saw 17 or whatever they are up to. I liked the first one in a messed up sort of way, but come on. Every year? Really? Unless you are in middle school, you probably aren’t their target audience anyway. Anyway, Zombieland puts the Saw series to shame. TO SHAME I SAY!
