HAHAHA!! I love having a quiz on Mondays… cause the easy puns are there for the taking!! LOL!!! It was a great night last night down at Roscoe’s as we laid the hammer down and took the Pub Quiz Balls to the Wall! (See… too easy on Mondays! LOL!)

We had four teams fighting for our winner take all pot last night. Team ‘Cathouse’ and ‘Still No Clever Name’ fought hard all evening but unfortunately fell to the bottom of the pack in the final round. ‘Bus Folk’ were the lead the whole way throughout the quiz… a very unfamiliar place for them I was told… but in the final round they lost the ball and slipped out of the cash… which meant that …

wait this can’t be right… ‘The Super Duo’ won??? Really?? I guess so!! LOL!!! They trailed all of the other teams all evening… but when it came down to it they used cunning and guile to take the winner take all pot!!! Well Played Guys!! Don’t call it a comeback because they were there all along!!! LOL!!

Allright for all of you who have never been down to Roscoe’s on SE 81st you should really come and check it out. It is one of the most laid back and fun venues that I’ve ever had… not to mention that they have some of the best food I had at any venue as well. There are some great happy hour food specials until 7 which include catfish and oyster sliders for 3 bucks along with a bowl of home-made andouille sausage gumbo that is to die for and priced at $4.75!

When you combine the great food with an awesome selection of handcrafted beers and the fact that starting next week they’re going to knock a dollar off of their pitchers for the folks playing the quiz there is no reason you shouldn’t come on down and check us out!!
