I hadn’t been to the Space Room since…. Well shit, I don’t remember how long. But I can tell you, I have definitely never run a quiz in such low ambient light! That’s par for the course at a place called the Space Room (duh!). How John Pullen can fit 50+ people in there is beyond me, but a shout out to the big JP—good job dude!

The night started great, with a happy crowd and me, perched on my Ms. Pac Man, ready to take the money of the bright eyed & bushy tailed teams. Oh and kudos to The Attack Bunny, party of one, who tore into her Dead Celebrities handout like she was the one who buried ‘em. And of course Adam from Clarification Please had to come up and harass me about the handout right out of the chute. OK OK so not all of ‘em are dead or American! So sue me!!

After my first double cran-vodka drink, I just had to try the Space Punch (on recommendation from Bootsie and Julie of Clarification Please). Oh that stuff was GOOD! And potent. By the time the challenge round rolled around, I was definitely a happy camper. And a big congrats to the two Mouthless Monkeys who won all the beans by knowing who Harold Pinter was. Good job, guys!
