Just a few teams, with the showdown for the cash this week, but they played well *ahem* well, they played, and they fought hard. So it was that our Monday night game was fierce and full of laughs as is the norm at CC’s. Team I Quiz on your Grave was out with us on Monday and took a commanding lead …by commanding I refer to the 4 points they had over the second place team The Streeps. Dai Bach, sadly with us for the last Monday for awhile, settled into third. However, as is often the case, we went into the final letting the third place team pick the final challenge round (we roll a little different on Monday night’s) and letting the winner take all the pot home. No one correctly identified the product that dead man Fred Astaire was hocking in his 1995 piece of work, I like to call “The Zombie Vacuum” Streeps came close by putting down “Red Devil” but alas, the correct answer was “Dirt Devil” therefore it was the Streeps conservative wager that vaulted them into first place!
