Thats right there is only one more week in this round of the Widmer Cup! And it looks like we have two teams within striking distance, T/x in the lead but only by 2 pts over ‘I’m With Stupid’… which means it’s on like Donkey Kong next week!! We’re Playing for gift certificates to the Widmer Gausthaus AND some kick ass Widmer Hoodies!!! NICE! Good Luck Guys!

We had a great night last night as we had an intimate but lively crowd down at the Old Thirsty Lion. All of the teams were knotted up at the end of the Bingo round and we waded into the second round of ad jingles that brought back so many memories of sitting by the Tv when I was a kid… Meow Mix, Coke and others to name a few…

We only had three teams get into the final round, ‘The Single Payers’ a young upstart team made it in but unfortunately couldn’t get enough votes to stop the filibuster, The aforementioned ‘T/x’ claimed second to give them an edge up on ‘I’m With Stupid’ but the night belonged to ‘Hangin’ Brain’ who were the most hung brains of the night! Well Played guys!!

We also had some great ‘Walk of Shame’ Prizes too for the teams at the lower end of the scoring spectrum which included some coupons for the Lion and 50% off the Adidas factory store!! Nice!!
